Happy New Year to All!
During the holidays, I had a chance to have dinner with two of my oldest, dearest friends. We were chatting about everything and nothing at the same time, typical dinner conversation. My friend Tess says "You always send cards. No one else sends cards. It's such a surprise to get them. It makes me feel good". When I heard that, I smiled. As everyone knows, I am a paper FIEND. I love stationery, I love cards, I love notebooks, journals, everything having to do with the written word. And I am known for sending cards, notes, etc. as often as I possibly can. I'd much rather send a thank you note, than a thank you e-mail. I had a feeling that my friends and family liked getting happy mail from me and now I knew it was true!
I thought about this story when I saw a Facebook message from Curly Girl Design . If you haven't checked out this site, you must. Leigh's cards and goodies are amazing, so cute and fun. I love sending them to people, brightening their days. Even though I might not get a lot of mail in return, I know these little notes are making the people I know happy. That alone will keep me going to mailbox. And buying more and more paper goodies!! :)
